Class "A" Barber Stylist Program

Mission Statement

The primary mission of this program is to train our students to master the art & science of Barber-Styling and to instill in our students the importance of good public relations and for students to enter the job market as professional Barber Stylists.

Objectives:

  • To train our students in current hair cutting trends through hands on instructional program.
  • To teach those subject areas which are most needed for the Program and to emphasize those most needed for success.
  • To assist students in finding employment at the conclusion of their training.
  • To provide a hands-on instructional program, this will enable each student to progress as rapidly as capability permits.
  • To develop professional qualities within each student.

Barber Instructor Program Mission Statement

The primary mission of this Program is to provide a program of education, which results in a student who has the necessary skills to become a licensed barber instructor and to enter the job market at an entry level position.

  • To train our students in current instructional areas.
  • To prepare our students for the state board of barber examination and to obtain a license to teach.
  • To include in every program of study those subjects which are most needed for barber instructor Program.

Barber Instructor Program

750 hours completed in not less than six months. Applicant must have a current Texas Barber License to enroll. Tuition: $4,000, Books, Tools, and Kit: $1,500,  Registration: $150

Instructors at Kings-Kuts must teach students everything necessary for them to be able to work competitively and competently as Barbers. Students are taught everything they need to know in order to get started in the business. Instructors also share the wealth of their own experiences in the field.

Cosmetology to Class "A" Barber Stylist Program

Cosmetology to Barber program:

300 clock hours. Students must have a cosmetology License. 

Tuition: $3,000; Tools & Kit (including books and smock): $1,500, Registration (non-refundable): $150; State Fees: $25

Hair Weaving Program

300 clock hours program

Tuition: $3,000; Tools & Kit (including books and smock): $1,500; Registration (non-refundable): $150; State Fees: $25

Refund Policy

  • A full refund of all monies must be refunded is a student cancels enrollment not later than midnight of the third day after the date on which the agreement or contract is signed by the prospective student, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and Legal Holidays.
  • The enrollment of the student was procured as a result of misrepresentation by an owner or any school official or through false advertising.
  • If tuition and fees are collected in advance of the start date of classes and the student does not begin classes or withdraws on the first day of class, no more than $100.00 of the tuition and fees may be retained by the institution.

If a student at the expiration of the cancellation period established under number 1 above this section fails to enter the program of training, withdraws from the program of training or is terminated from the program of training before completion of the program. The refund policy is based on the period of the student’s enrollment, computed on the basis of program time expressed in clock hours.
